Cecilia from The Artists Desk is a truly unique individual with a pure heart and a deep love for art in all its forms. As a young woman stepping confidently onto the path of her dreams, I felt incredibly privileged to walk a part of that journey with her. Designing and developing a brand-new website for her new music booking agency business was both an honour and a deeply rewarding experience.
It is always special to work with a fellow creative—especially someone who places full trust in you and allows you to pour your creativity and passion into their vision. The Artists Desk was without a doubt a project with its challenges, but it proudly earns its place among my top five fun yet functional designs and layouts to date.
Through the design and planning process, I learned so much more about the music industry. In many ways, it felt like I was getting to know performing artists on a deeper level for the very first time—bringing their profiles together and understanding their stories. It reminded me once again that art remains one of the purest and most beautiful expressions of life. Every artist is unique in their craft, and each profile tells a story of where they’ve been and where they’re heading. The most beautiful part of all? Art in all forms is meant to be shared.
